Venice, Burano, Murano, Trochetto

Last weekend we went on a boat tour of the Venice Lagoon. Our friend, Oliver, was our skipper for 2 days. We ate amazing fresh fish and saw parts of Venice I have never had the oppurtunity to see before. Everywhere we went was so completely different than Feltre, I can’t believe it is so close.

This is the river that we can see and hear from our bedroom window. Alla Casetta seems to be a good spot to start from- a little bit ahead of the waterfall in the last photo.

our winter project

Last November we started this addition- casa in legno. Things progressed pretty slowly in December and January.
But now it looks like this!
We added an entire additional house. The ground floor has a mini apartment for guests and the second floor is our house. Everything is all coming together at the end and will be completed by the end of May for our first scheduled guest of the season.
